Bols Cocktail Battle 2026 – Neon Nights Edition
Bars and bartenders take note: the Bols Cocktail Battle is entering the next round! Create your low-ABV drinks and secure your chance at an unforgettable experience in Amsterdam.
The Bols Cocktail Battle 2026 is all about the low-alcohol trend and is inspired by the iconic party vibes of past decades. Bartenders from various countries, including Switzerland, are invited to submit their creative cocktail ideas and take part in the local final.
It’s worth taking part: The winner of the local final will fly to Amsterdam – the home of Bols!
How to take part
All bartenders working in Switzerland are invited to submit their creations via Difford’s Guide by 31 May 2026: Register now:
How it works – Create your Neon Night
- Choose a Bols liqueur – pick your favourite Bols liqueur.
- Choose an iconic decade – 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s or 2010s.
- Create your Neon Party moment – your low-unit cocktail for the party!
The drink recipe must contain 20 ml of a Bols liqueur, may include a maximum of seven ingredients and must not exceed 12.5 g of alcohol.
Swiss Final in Zurich
The best recipes will be selected by Wolfgang Mayer (Widder Bar Zurich). The finalists will present their drinks live at the Tales Bar in Zurich on monday afternoon 29 June 2026 before a jury of experts – including Bols Amsterdam. Friends and supporters are also warmly invited to attend and sample the creations on site.
The highlight: Amsterdam beckons
The winner of the Swiss final will travel to Amsterdam in September for Cocktail Fever. There, two inspiring days await at the House of Bols, as well as the chance to exchange ideas with the best bartenders from around the world.
