25-year-old Arnold Dettling takes over the business. Despite the very challenging 1930s, his namesake son successfully maintains the company, then develops it to new heights.
Arnold Dettling AG joins forces with the global family business Underberg AG. The collaboration spawns fresh international partnerships concluded with the family-owned companies W. Grant & Sons, Distell and Lucas Bols.
Foundation of the marketing & sales company Dettling & Marmot AG headquartered in Wollerau, which emerges from the two companies Arnold Dettling AG and Marmot Kellerei AG.
Cooperation with the renowned Edrington Group from Perth in Scotland gets underway – owner of well-known brands like The Macallan, Highland Park and Brugal Rum.
Cooperation with the Spanish Zamora Group gets underway. The family business is known for its award-winning Ramòn Bilbao, Mar de Frades and Cruz de Alba wineries, as well as the Licor 43 and Villa Massa spirits brands.
Ever since 2018, Jack Daniel’s has been exclusively distributed and marketed by Dettling & Marmot. Joining the Jack Daniel’s brand portfolio, the Woodford Reserve Range and the single malts from Brown Forman are also now part of the Dettling & Marmot product family.
The Camus house, founded in 1863, is added to the portfolio the same year. Camus is the only one of the major cognac producers that remains family-owned.
With immediate effect, the renowned ILLVA Saronno brands will now be represented in Switzerland by Dettling & Marmot. The portfolio includes the Disaronno, Tia Maria and Rabarbaro Zucca brands. We also take on the Sicilian wines: Duca di Salaparuta and Florio Marsala.
The oldest Burgundy house, Maison Champy, has earned global acclaim for the outstanding quality of its Grand Crus of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. The winery has enriched the French wines at Dettling & Marmot since autumn 2021.
Our premium portfolio is growing: Diplomático Rum from Venezuela and Gin Mare from Spain will be distributed by Dettling & Marmot from 2024.
Day in, day out, our team remains committed and professional to meet the concerns of our customers and partners throughout Switzerland. Our sales organisation is structured according to Key Accounts and encompasses Region East (German-speaking Switzerland and Ticino), Region West (French-speaking Switzerland) and Indoor Sales. Rounding everything off is seamless support from the Marketing and Finance & Administration teams.
