Hot cocktails for cold days

For the winter season 2025/26 we have updated our exclusive cocktail menu with hot drinks as mulled wine alternatives.

Hot drinks come in different varieties. As hot cocktails, they are made up of a sophisticated combination of two or more ingredients, using at least one spirit. This can be whisky, gin, vodka or a liqueur of your choice. Some of these recipes are hot variations of well-known (cold) cocktail classics, others belong to the category of “creative new concoctions”. A high-proof alternative to the well-known mulled wine.

The recipes are all easy to replicate.

Our top hot drinks recipes

Favourite #1: Heisser Esel (Hot Donkey)

• 4 cl Hendrick’s Gin
• top up with hot ginger beer*
• garnish with mint & lime

Favourite #2: Hot Italian Mule

• 4 cl Disaronno Originale
• 1 tea bag ginger tea (Yogi) or fresh ginger
• top up with hot water*

*Assuming a filling quantity of just over 20ml per cup, the total amount to be poured is 15–160ml. Mixing ratio of approx. 1:4
