The Macallan launches a limited 18-year-old Single Malt release
With the The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release, The Macallan introduces a new, strictly limited Single Malt Scotch Whisky in early February 2026.
The 18-year-old Single Malt, crafted by Whisky Maker Russell Greig, combines several cask types: sherry-seasoned European and American oak, complemented for the first time by American oak casks previously used for red wine. This cask selection adds depth to the whisky while creating a balanced interplay of structure and elegance.
On the nose, notes of polished oak, vanilla and dried fruits emerge. The palate reveals creamy vanilla and caramel, alongside hints of cocoa, coffee and subtle spices. The finish is long, warm and refined. The whisky is bottled at 45.5% ABV and presented in its natural colour.
The The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release will be available on request and in strictly limited quantities from early February 2026 via Dettling & Marmot.
As with all The Macallan expressions, this release places uncompromising quality, cask expertise and artisanal precision at the forefront.
