Glenfiddich 16 Year Old Aston Martin F1 (Release 2)

3. August 2026

Glenfiddich is launching the second release of its 16-year-old Aston Martin F1

The Glenfiddich 16 Year Old Aston Martin F1 (Release 2) is a masterfully balanced blend of whiskies, characterised by first-fill bourbon casks as well as fine wine and fortified wine casks.

The bourbon casks form the foundation for Glenfiddich’s classic, fruity sweetness, which is then deepened and brought to the fore through blending with specially selected whiskies. Each of these whiskies has been matured or finished in one of four different types of cask: port casks, Oloroso sherry casks, wine casks and, finally, a delicate hint of Fino sherry casks.

What makes the new edition so special?

The 1st Edition (last year’s edition) impressed with its characterful and robust flavour notes – shaped by the blending of American oak wine casks, new American oak casks and second-fill bourbon casks.

The new edition delights with an impressively rich depth of flavour thanks to careful maturation and finishing in selected Port, Fino sherry, Oloroso sherry and wine casks – to emphasise and refine the unmistakable Glenfiddich fruit notes.

The new Glenfiddich 16 Year Old Aston Martin F1 (Release 2) is available from Dettling & Marmot.

About Glenfiddich

For 20 years, William Grant nurtured a dream to make the «best dram in the valley». With the help of his family, he finally achieved his vision. In the summer of 1886, with his seven sons and two daughters by his side, William set out to fulfil a lifelong ambition. Together they began building a distillery, stone by stone. After a year of hard work it was ready, and William named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for ‘valley of the deer’. William’s passion, determination and pioneering spirit continue to guide Glenfiddich today. To this day, the world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky is still made in the distillery, which remains entirely family owned and reflects its founder’s innovative nature, passed down through five generations.
