Glenfiddich adds a 14 Year Old to its Flagship Collection
Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Our Bourbon Barrel Reserve combines Scotch single malt with a finish in new American oak from Kentucky. It is now a permanent part of the Flagship Collection.
After 14 years of maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is finished in new American oak casks from the Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky. The result is a rich, sweet and lively single malt with aromas of wood spice and ripe summer fruit. It appeals to Scotch connoisseurs and bourbon enthusiasts alike.
Nose: deep vanilla notes, a hint of citrus, caramelised brown sugar and cinnamon, with baked apple and ripe summer fruit. Palate: full-bodied and sweet, with creamy toffee, wood spice, candied orange peel and freshly toasted oak. Finish: long, with a sweet close.

Glenfiddich
In the summer of 1886, William Grant began building a distillery stone by stone with his seven sons and two daughters. A year later it was complete, and he named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for ‘valley of the deer’. The distillery remains family-owned to this day and is run by the fifth generation.
Available since August: the limited Glenfiddich 16 Year Old Aston Martin F1 (Release 2). The third and final edition in this series follows next year.
