The Glenfiddich 16 Year Old Aston Martin F1 (Release 2) is a masterfully balanced blend of whiskies, characterised by first-fill bourbon casks as well as fine wine and fortified wine casks.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bourbon casks form the foundation for Glenfiddich\u2019s classic, fruity sweetness, which is then deepened and brought to the fore through blending with specially selected whiskies. Each of these whiskies has been matured or finished in one of four different types of cask: port casks, Oloroso sherry casks, wine casks and, finally, a delicate hint of Fino sherry casks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 1st Edition (last year\u2019s edition) impressed with its characterful and robust flavour notes \u2013 shaped by the blending of American oak wine casks, new American oak casks and second-fill bourbon casks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new edition delights with an impressively rich depth of flavour thanks to careful maturation and finishing in selected Port, Fino sherry, Oloroso sherry and wine casks \u2013 to emphasise and refine the unmistakable Glenfiddich fruit notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
