The edition combines exceptional craftsmanship with inspiration from nature, light and new beginnings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Limited edition single malt with a unique character<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Matured in a selection of sherry-stored American and European oak casks, complemented by previous bourbon casks, for a delicate sweetness and complex layers of aroma.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taste: vibrant notes of berry compote, toasted marshmallows, pavlova (regionally adaptable) and manuka honey. Gentle spices and a smooth oak finish underscore the contemplative joy of a new year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alcohol content: 43%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Artistic design<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The packaging was designed in collaboration with New Zealand artist Bonnie Brown. Her illustrations capture the themes of hope, renewal and togetherness, visualising the celebrations of the first light \u2013 from sunset to dawn. Each edition in the series is reinterpreted annually by local artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Craftsmanship at every stage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Macallan controls every step of the whisky-making process \u2013 from cask to bottling \u2013 ensuring the highest quality. There is also a fleeting scent of manuka honey, unique in character and native to New Zealand.
