200 Years The Macallan

In January, Macallan celebrated its 200th anniversary with an exclusive event in Switzerland. More than 100 high-caliber guests gathered at AURA in Zurich to experience the launch of Time Space Mastery in an impressively immersive setting.

The evening began in an attractively designed exhibition space that invited guests on a fascinating journey through time with Macallan – accompanied by exquisite Macallan cocktails and a presentation of iconic products such as:

• Macallan Red Collection 77yo

Subsequently, the room was transformed into an interactive space. With 360° video projections, atmospheric music, and a rich red ambiance that symbolizes Macallan’s heritage, it provided the perfect backdrop for further highlights. After a welcome speech by André Parsic, General Manager of Dettling & Marmot, and impressive insights by Frédéric Virgoux, Brand Specialist at Macallan Switzerland, an exclusive dinner – which showcased the flavors of the finest Macallan whiskies – rounded off the evening. In addition to a ballet performance and a live violin performance, the climax of the evening was marked by the unveiling of the Macallan Time Space Celeste. Here, guests had the unique opportunity to taste Time Space Mastery – accompanied by a specially crafted chocolate-ginger cake dessert.
